The Pixie Prize

The Pixie Prize is awarded to the oldest whippet in the top ten at the WRA National race meet

Offered by Allie Smith. The Pixie Prize is awarded to the oldest whippet in the top ten at the WRA National race meet Offered by Allie Smith. The Pixie Prize is offered to honor Pixie, Catchem Trigger, WRCh, ORC, FCh, CGC, who finished ninth in the Top Ten at the 2010 WRA National at the age of 6.5 years old. The winner will have his/her name inscribed on a plaque that will stay in the possession of Allie Smith, and will receive a giant basket of treats for his/her enjoyment.

Requirements for winning. The dog has to compete as an adult, running all four heats and complete the meet ending up in the Top Ten. Winning is based on placement in the Top Ten as determined by the Race Secretary, not by number of points.

It was first presented in 2011.
