The Itsme Woody Valiant Effort Trophy
Awarded to the valiant effort dog at the WRA National.

The Itsme Woody Valiant Effort Trophy is given in honor of Itsme Woody by the Gammies. Woody won the Valiant Effort award at the last NPR National (1995), the first two WRA Nationals (1996 & 1997), and all but about 6 of his other race meets in his 5 year career.  This trophy honors those that also serve. The ones that run their hearts out, build points and support the meet from below.  If heart alone could win a meet Woody would have won every meet he ever ran in.  His little body was just not built for speed, so he did the best he could with what he had.  And enjoyed every minute of it.
