The
Laddie Trophy is given in honor of Laddie, GJ Heilan' Laddie O Whillo
B, WRCh, ORC, who completed 7 WRA National Race Meets in his life
time. He ran in Grade A races from the time he was 1.5 years
until he was 7. He could run 8 Heats in a day with little loss of
speed. I
wanted to honor the dogs who have the stamina to run, and run healthy,
for a long period of time. The Laddie Trophy is earned by the dog
that has completed the most WRA National Race Meets, either as a puppy
or adult. Requirements
for winning: The dog has to compete as an adult, running all four (4)
heats and complete the race meet, and have been to a minimum of four
WRA national race meets. If there are two or more dogs with the
same number of race meets attended, the dog off the board first will
win this trophy. the Dog need not have completed all prior
national race meets. A DQ at any national meet will disqualify
that years meet. If the Laddie Trophy is not issued in any year,
it will be returned to the donor to be held until the next WRA National
Race Meet.Past Winners
