The Pixie Prize

Awarded to the oldest whippet in the top ten at the WRA National race meet.

Offered by Allie Smith, The Pixie Prize is presented to honor Pixie, Catchem Trigger WRCh ORC FCh CGC, who finished ninth in the Top Ten at the 2010 WRA Nationals at the age of 6.5 years old. It will be presented to the whippet who is the oldest in the Top Ten. The winner will have their name inscribed on a plaque that will stay in the possession of Allie Smith and receive a giant basket of treats for their enjoyment. Requirements for winning: Dog has to compete as an adult, running all four heats and complete the meet ending up in the Top Ten. Winning is based on their placement in the Top Ten as determined by the race secretary, not by the number of points. The Pixie Prize will be awarded for the first time in 2011.
